Dont pay top dollar for this
I was really excited about this show, especially with the lineup. Sommore was spot-on. Her own set should have been had and not just being the hostess. Mark Curry was a letdown. I thought he would come out with a bang, given that I have not seen him or heard about him in years. Not so. Lavell Crawford was the TRUTH!!!! His set needed to be longer. He had everyone laughing with his new material. He should be the headliner!!!!! George Wallace was okay. He told some jokes, but most of the material was dated and I have heard in other shows/commercials. Let's just say once Portland Timbers got on stage, we packed our stuff and left. Pure disappointment. Material was dated, his set moved slowly, and the crowd grew tired of not laughing. If you plan on going, get the cheap seats. No need to pay top dollar!
Great experience with the Timbers Army
With Portland Timbers single game tickets hard to get, we were fortunate to buy two tickets for a Sunday game, to see if we liked the travel and the overall experience before shelling out for a season ticket.
Although we were a little concerned at getting non-assigned seats in the Timbers Army, it turned out to be a fantastic experience and we liked that we could pick a spot amongst but not overwhelmed by the passionate Timbers fans.
Our view was good and we were soon joining in with the rest of the crowd, in some rousing songs and chants.
The only blemish on the whole day was that the Timbers surrendered their unbeaten home record but apart from that, we had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back for more.
Great Game, terrible seats.
The game was fantastic. Both my son and I had a really great time. At the same time, our seats in section 211 row S, seats 11 and 12 were terrible. You can not see the south goal from these seats. They should not be sold. At the same time, there were a few rows of seats near our location that had decent views of the field, but they were covered with tarps. Someone, e.g. Mr. Paulson, should go check these seats out in person to see what I am talking about. We decided to take matters into our own hands and moved to the upper level of the General Admission area where we were able to sit in two of many unfilled seats.
Thank you for the opportunity to share our comments.
Sincerely,
Denny
